Championship Clubs, your time has come

With the news that West Ham are considering an ‘out of court’ settlement with Sheffield United, there’s money up for grabs. So Championship clubs, stop dreaming of the ‘bright lights’ and Sky millions – turns those dreams into reality by sueing Kevin McCabe and Sheffield Utd.

Now correct me if i’m wrong but £25 million worth of new players from January 1st until the end of the season should buy them back into ‘the land of milk and honey’ But at what other clubs expense?!

West ham could be forced to pay for the effect that one player had in just the 3 remaining games of a season. Of course this WAS the only reason Sheffield Utd were relegated. The £25 million is also the only reason Sheffield Utd can get promoted and at the same time, unfairly doing another Club out of the wealth and trappings of Premier League football. Why should what happened 2 seasons ago effect your clubs chances of promotion now?

Sadly McCabe and his merry followers, desperately grasping thir swords of justice, have all but assured that real end of season football results are decided in  the Courts by players in team colours of black and grey and wearing wigs!

But so be it – let the game commence under McCabes new rules of Association Football. Come the end of season Sheffield Utd.. if they suceed in buying promotion, would have to agree that sueing them is the new and only fair thing to do.

After all, it wouldn’t be football if you didn’t !!!

Other News

- Liverpool are considered unreasonably huge favourites in tonights game at Anfield. Now I’m not saying that we will definitely go there and get a results, but personally I think that having us at nearly 10/1 (betNOW.co.uk – use the code ‘onyahead’ for a free of charge bet by the way) is a little extreme. I would like to say that we will get something from the game, but I think it all depends on how ‘up for it’ Bellamy is.

- We have drawn Championship club Barnsely in the third round of the FA Cup at home. Good draw by all accounts although they will be remebered for a long while for their heroics recently against Liverpool and Chelsea. Could be a concern…

    1. Please make cheque payable to Sheffield United Football Club to the tune of fifty million pounds and no pence.

See you in the Championship shortly you cheating gets.

    2. With the out of court settlement, we shall purchase players LEGALLY. And re-enter the premiership LEGALLY. And wave at the WHAM cheats as they pass into the Championship. Time yiz played some honest football.

    3. You are living in fantasy land. You break the law, then you pay your dues. End of story. And yes you can be charged with the same offence twice. Liars and cheats rarely prosper.

    5. West Ham still can’t accept they cheated, were found guilty of cheating, then continued to cheat by illegaly playing Tevez for the last 3 games of the season.

    6. Gavin: we paid 5 Million pounds for our sins. Rightly or wrongly: Sheffield Despited should be sueing the FA/Premier League. Moreover, Sheffield lost to Wigan at home on the last game of the season, while we won at Old Trafford… Sheffield beat us while Tevez was on the pitch. If we had withdrawn all ten other players we would have lost all our last three matches. If we hadn’t played Tevez, then who knows? You? A kangaroo court tribunal? Let us know when you can safely predict the football pools/results and we can all just litigate ahead of time.

      Wake up, you imbecile.

    8. @ Mark Lopez: West Ham beware the curse of the blades! The last team that cheated against the blades were Wimbledon when they threw the last match of the season to keep Everton in the premiership in 1995. look where they are now pay the £50m it will be cheaper
