Travel for the Liverpool game = nightmare

I realise that the Official Site has already notified people of the tube closures on Saturday, but I also realised that not everyone checks the Official Site everyday…

So, here’s their information relayed to you:

“The Hammersmith and City line and the District line will be shut between Barking and Whitechapel on Saturday 19 September. This means that Plaistow, Upton Park and East Ham tube stations will have no London Underground service running to them.

It certainly makes my journey a lot more difficult. Have a look at the TFL website here, to see how your journey is affected

I’m sure you will all have your different ways of getting to the ground, so if anyone knows of anything easier than a 50min walk from West Ham underground station, then please do share…and don’t say “watch it on ESPN”

    4. Jubilee Line to Canning Town, then bus to Greengate, A number of different buses go there so frequent. Quick pint in the castle pub at Green gate cross roads then 10 minute walk to the ground.
