Bets suspended on Zola being next to get chop

For me, it makes for pretty gutting reading, but all bets on Zola to be the next manager to be sacked have been suspended because of unusual betting patterns. According to this source, one London based customer was “looking to place a five figure sum” when the price was 5-1

The spokesman for William Hill has said “They were backing Zola at any price and there must be a rumour that either he is walking or the likely new owners are not Zola fans”

What do people make of all this – personally, I would be entirely unimpressed if the first thing that the new board was to do was to sack Zola.

I’m beginning to sound like a broken record, but it’s STABILITY that we need

    1. Zola must stay, He and Clarke can bring good times to the hammers playing the West Ham way, they just need backing not sacking.

    2. I wouldn’t read too much into it, it’s all still speculation and all the noise right now is saying it’s G&S it’s not certain. Nor is it certain that they’d axe Zola as soon as they got in.

Remember Dean Ashton was 4/6 to join stoke in the summer….

    7. To sack Zola and Clarke would be a complete disaster. Watching the Villa game yesterday, I was really impressed with our performance. Most pleasing of all I felt that there was a real togetherness about our team. Did anyone watch yesterdays Sunday Supplement on Sky Sports? We were labelled the most “truculent” supporters in the country. Now is the time to prove this and for all our fans websites to unite behind Zola and Clarke and make any new owners aware of our feelings.
