Was Scott Parker right?

I’ve been running this through my head this whole week after our truly dire result against Bolton last Saturday. I was an awful result only further drilled in after their result last night against Sunderland. They lost 4-0 if you didn’t catch it. Which really does make us look even more silly.
Before hand we all [...]

An elbow, yes. But it was poor

There seems to be so much to talk about at the Boleyn these days…unfortunately not all good.
In hopefully a couple of posts I will cover my thoughts on all of the takeover (including Karren Braidie), old saggy chops and his schemes to become the least original wheeler deeler football has ever seen and of course [...]

‘Smug’ Bolton 3 – 1 ‘Sorry’ West Ham

“Unusually confident for some reason. I’m sure there’s every chance this will come back to bite me – but I’ll happily take that risk”
Sam H – 16/12/09 – The Makings of an Epic
It did.
It would seem that Bolton had every right to be smug about last night’s fixture. And I’m sure had they known the [...]

Referee? Strikers? Tactics? Or all of the above?

The Villa result at Upton Park midweek was massive. We worked hard for that result and general consensus is that we got what we deserved (just). What it meant to the fans to the players and to Zola/Clarke(/even Kevin Keen) was clear for all to see.
So optimism and expectation was high going into the Everton [...]

Diamanti “thrives on confusion”

Not entirely sure what Carlton Cole means when he says that Diamanti “thrives on confusion” – see this video from the BBC – but what I do know is that Carlton Cole possibly just played his best game in a West Ham shirt.
There were still the occasional runs into dead ends and the odd instance [...]

To me, an injustice was served.

Last night, I was angry.
I feel particularly sorry for the handful of Citeh fans who had me shout in their faces when we scored. They were frustratingly arrogant though, and were apparently suffering from some sort of syndrome reserved for clubs with money; that is one that means you fail to see any blatant fouls [...]

West Ham boys in Sweden: Report from Gothenburg

This has to go down as one of my favourtie blogs to write…obviously not because of it’s quality as I’ve not started yet, but because I’m writing it on a train from Gothenburg to Malmo; following the path of the England U21 team to the final of the European Championships.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have [...]

Neill Warnock’s Palace Deducted A Point For Cheating

This I just had to mention.
The BBC are reporting that Neill Warnock’s Crystal Palace side have been deducted a point and fined £35,000 (£20,000 up front) for…wait for it…fielding an ineligible player against…wait for it….Sheffield United.
Ha.
The player in question was Rui Fonte who Warnock played, despite his loan deal from Arsenal having already expired.
Really lovely [...]

West Ham Pick Up Promising Charlton Youngster, Danny Uchechi [WITH PHOTOS]

So first of all, after my post the other day about how to write a West Ham article, the following had better turn out to be true. But, I’m putting my neck on the line and reporting what I’ve heard nontheless!
A source today has reported seeing promising Charlton forward, Danny Uchechi, pull up to our [...]
